Building better websites

using advanced technologies.

Web design and development is the foundation of our business. Every company should have a website, no matter how big or small, and we have been creating websites for small companies for over 3 years now.

Most websites fall into one of 4 categories:

Brochure type website
Database driven website
Ecommerce website
Custom web application
Brochure type website

Otherwise known as a "static" website, this website's primary purpose is to showcase your company and your services. It might include a company history, service listing and content, plus maybe a photo gallery, portfolio of work, case studies, contact page, recent news, and perhaps a few other sections.

The primary purpose of a brochure type website is to showcase your company and drive the user to your contact page, and then take action, such as filling out your contact form or sending you an email.

We have designed scores of brochure type websites; each one is professional, unique and matches the client's identity and the image they want to communicate. We've also designed the print material for many of these clients so that the company's image is cohesive across all mediums.

Database driven website
Having an online database connected to your website makes it dynamic and updateable. We are not really in the business of "website maintenance". If we have to constantly update content on your website (and keep charging you for it), we will suggest creating a database driven management site so that you can update the content yourself, and not feel "tied" to us every time you want to make a change.

Our management sites are highly professional and easy to use. You shouldn't need a manual or programming experience to use the management site. You also shouldn't have to deal with a clunky interface or something that isn't intuitive.

There are 2 main components to the database driven websites we create. The first is a robust and secure management site, and the second is a dynamic and intuitive public website.

The Management Site
The management site is not accessible by the public. You create a secure username and password to access the management site. The different categories here correspond to the different sections on your public website.

Our management sites are clear and intuitive. They do not require a lot of instructions or training because we use intelligent layout and functionality. If you are familiar with browsing the internet and filling out forms and pressing a Save button, then our management sites should be very easy for you to use effectively.

The Public Site
The public website is the site that web visitors will browse to learn about your business and access your dynamic features. In the case of an ecommerce site, they will browse your product catalog and add items to their shopping cart.

We focus on for Human Computer Interaction. It describes the process of how people interact with computer applications (such as a website). Your website must be intuitive. It must be completely obvious what the point of the site is and how to navigate and how to use the shopping cart or sign up for the newsletter or enter their address or search for things. You might have the coolest functionality around, but if it's not in the user's immediate view or their eye is being drawn to your flash animation, they will miss the point and go somewhere else.

Ecommerce website
If you want to sell products online, you need an ecommerce website. There are many ecommerce solutions out there, and it can be a daunting task to determine which solution is right for you. Most of our ecommerce clients come to us because they already have an ecommerce solution that they are unhappy with because it is not flexible enough to handle certain business rules.

Our ecommerce solutions are completely customized to fit your business. They are also built in a modular fashion, so that the site can grow with you as you need more features added.
